Responsibilities
- Design and build large-scale, highly available, resilient distributed systems for global partner KYC and KYB products.
- Maintain and modernize existing partner systems while creating new services and systems from scratch.
- Own services end to end, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Develop proofs of concept, solve product and business problems, and own projects through completion.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, compliance, customer service, and international teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and share knowledge through demos, presentations, and tutorials.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with object-oriented languages, especially Kotlin or Java.
- Experience with third-party integrations, API design, software development, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit, integration, and regression testing practices.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure; cloud knowledge alone is acceptable for mid-level candidates.
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL databases, or both.
- Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and concisely to non-domain experts.
- Experience with Vue.js is a preferred but non-mandatory qualification.
