Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision and architecture of large-scale distributed systems for the Test Cloud platform.
- Set the multi-quarter technical direction and drive alignment with adjacent platform teams.
- Make architectural decisions that span the full stack, ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery.
- Partner with product management and design to shape product features and customer outcomes.
- Innovate by embedding AI intelligence into testing processes and workflows.
- Mentor engineers and drive best practices in architecture, testing, and CI/CD.
- Identify and resolve system bottlenecks while ensuring high availability and performance.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to modernize the platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 13+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in distributed systems and backend architecture.
- Strong proficiency in modern backend languages, preferably C#.
- Full-stack experience with REST/GraphQL APIs and basic UI integration.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems, preferably Azure.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed teams.
