Base Salary
$121k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, and model development.
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet business and user needs.
- Monitor and control development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Analyze complex application development problems and evaluate business, system, and industry processes and standards.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and assess business usage to ensure system functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions and assist with customer-facing systems.
- Define and follow operating standards and processes, assess risk, and support regulatory and policy compliance.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new and lower-level analysts while acting as a subject matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java core concepts, including object-oriented programming, collections, and concurrency.
- Expertise with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
- Experience with database technologies and object-relational mapping frameworks.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles, software architecture, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Git and strong SQL querying and data manipulation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of microservices architecture, Kafka, Spark, CI/CD pipelines, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, or R.
