Responsibilities
- Lead technology advisory consultancy and transformational delivery engagements.
- Operate and continuously improve the CTO Office Technical Design Authority function, including its charter and operating model.
- Assure high-level and low-level designs against architecture principles, standards, and quality guidelines.
- Manage architecture governance, design decisions, architecture repositories, and Development Working Group sessions.
- Develop and present client proposals, technology consulting collateral, frameworks, methodologies, toolkits, and deliverables.
- Support account opportunity identification, qualification, and sales.
- Coach and mentor junior team members and contribute to practice capability development.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience leading architecture engagements.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Design Authority.
- IT consulting or system integrator experience, preferably in the public sector.
- Experience setting up and operating a Technical Design Authority function and governing architecture decisions.
- Broad knowledge of cloud, distributed, and monolithic architectures across application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security domains.
- Strong understanding of architecture design patterns, integration anti-patterns, and architecture governance.
- Understanding of ArchiMate, UML, and BPMN modeling notation.
- Familiarity with TOGAF, including ADM, and Sparx Enterprise Architect.
- Knowledge of structured and object-oriented analysis and design methods.
- SC Clearance required or eligibility to obtain clearance.
