Responsibilities
- Produce maintainable, high-quality professional software code independently.
- Design systems and lead by example for junior team members.
- Debug production issues involving multiple systems and remove bottlenecks.
- Own medium-to-large software engineering subsystems.
- Own team quality goals and functional test methodology.
- Contribute to CI/CD goals and identify performance and scalability bottlenecks.
- Improve team efficiency and operational excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers and influence team members through technical leadership.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong software development skills and the ability to produce maintainable, high-quality code independently.
- Experience debugging production issues involving multiple systems.
- Understanding of system and deployment architecture, performance, and scalability.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, interpret product requirements, and provide clarity.
- Experience with quality goals, functional testing methodology, or SDET/QA responsibilities.
