Base Salary
$130k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate scalable, highly available backend services in C#/.NET, Python, and Go on Azure and Kubernetes.
- Build LLM-powered features involving inference, model integration, context pipelines, RAG, tool calling, agents, and evaluations.
- Design event-driven and asynchronous architectures across microservices.
- Own delivery end to end, including Terraform, CI/CD, monitoring, and production incident response.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and platform teams and participate in code and design reviews.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to design, write, review, verify, and test production code.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience designing and building production backend services in C#/.NET, Python, or Go across the full software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience building products with LLMs, including inference, structured outputs, RAG, tool calling, or agents, using Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI API, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Anthropic API, or similar platforms.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, API design, microservices, and a major cloud provider.
- Solid understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture and operating systems at scale.
- Preferred experience building tools, APIs, or integrations used by AI agents, including MCP servers, function/tool-calling interfaces, or plugins.
- Preferred ML and MLOps experience with fine-tuning, evaluation harnesses, and deploying and evaluating models in production.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred identity security, privileged access management, or Zero Trust background.
