Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality code for services, servers, distributed systems, and backend architecture.
- Incorporate AI, machine learning, and computer vision capabilities into products and services.
- Evaluate requirements and alternatives to drive ML solutions.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis, construct data stores, and develop data pipelines to support frameworks and models.
- Develop custom algorithms, frameworks, and models using available tools, libraries, and applications.
- Deploy and scale ML solutions and present findings and solutions to clients and team members.
- Identify ML use cases including object detection, optical character recognition, automation, predictive modeling, pattern analysis, natural language processing, and fraud detection.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret-level security clearance or higher are required.
- Ability to work full time at the client site in Washington, DC.
- At least two years of professional experience with machine-learning delivery responsibilities.
- Experience with object detection and computer vision models including YOLO, MMDetection, R-CNN, SSD, FPN, and RetinaNet.
- Programming experience with languages such as Python, R, Scala, SQL, JavaScript, C/C++, and Java.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark ML/MLlib, and Jupyter.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Preferred qualifications include an active TS clearance, relevant data science/ML/AI/cloud certifications, big-data ecosystem experience, cloud database and data-lake development, and experience with Azure, AWS, DataRobot, or H2O.ai.
