Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain AI and machine learning models.
- Build production-grade AI-enabled applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Define and own the direction of mission-critical AI solutions for Air Force business operations.
- Build secure enterprise data foundations and reusable data products on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Design event-driven integrations and workflow automation, including asynchronous messaging and audit logging.
- Implement MLOps and DevSecOps practices such as automated testing, containerization, and model evaluation.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java with APIs and data services.
- Experience developing and deploying AI-enabled applications involving LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Experience building secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms, including governed ingest, file exchange, data catalogs, metadata, and data mesh-style products.
- Ability to design event-driven integrations and workflow automation.
- Ability to implement MLOps or DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, or model evaluation.
- Secret clearance is required, with eligibility for access to classified information.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred experience includes geospatial or 3D data, point clouds, LiDAR, photogrammetry, digital twins, facility and asset data models, sensor streams, IoT telemetry, Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, disconnected or air-gapped environments, cross-domain data handling, RMF or STIG-aligned delivery, and AI-assisted software development tools.
- TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
