Base Salary
$125k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deliver, and own software through its full lifecycle from inception to production.
- Implement and maintain product features and drive complex changes across multiple components.
- Develop quality changes with automated tests, metrics, monitoring, and release validation.
- Build reusable components and processes in a distributed system environment.
- Collaborate with user experience, product management, and engineering teams on product roadmaps and requirements.
- Lead or participate in technically ambiguous projects, develop success criteria, and create execution plans using user and market data.
- Mentor, teach, guide, and review the work of other engineers and participate in hiring activities.
- Analyze and communicate the operational impact of delivered work.
Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Seven or more years of software development engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a relevant engineering-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building enterprise-level services.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate on distributed teams.
- Preferred experience with C#, Java, Node.js, SQL, React, and Redux.
- Passion for building polished user interfaces and willingness to learn and solve complex technical problems.
