Responsibilities
- Provide front-line site reliability engineering and production support for equity trading, risk, and middle-office systems.
- Build monitoring tools and collect operating-system and application metrics for performance tuning and fault finding.
- Implement and manage scalable cloud-native infrastructure and automate sustainable systems and services.
- Develop and maintain deployment pipelines and support expedited deployment of new systems.
- Perform capacity planning, platform management, debugging, and resolution of complex application and technical problems.
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis, and follow up on permanent development fixes.
- Collaborate with business, application, development, and infrastructure teams on standards, testing, releases, and service improvements.
- Document procedures, best practices, and troubleshooting FAQs.
- Support compliance and legal queries and provide global production support.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux/Unix services.
- Strong experience with PowerShell, Python, and SQL scripting.
- Strong knowledge of Nagios, Splunk, OTEL, and Datadog monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of the FIX protocol.
- Working experience in capital markets across modules and instruments, especially cash equities, ETS, bonds, options, futures, and swaps.
- Experience with banking and financial-industry applications and a proper understanding of the trade lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, time-management, and project-management skills.
