Responsibilities
- Participate in analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, debugging, deployment, and support of online services.
- Design and develop scalable, secure account, authentication, profile, and player-identity services.
- Provide production support for live services and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Integrate account services with related platform systems.
- Estimate development effort and contribute to delivery planning.
- Assess technical risks and the impact of architectural and implementation decisions.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners.
- Stay current with technologies and practices in online services, gaming, cloud computing, and web development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Significant professional experience in software development, including designing, developing, and supporting production systems.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Core.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and distributed systems using microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud-based services, preferably AWS.
- Experience with containerized applications such as Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality tools, and version control systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, reliability, performance, and security principles.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting production systems in a live-service environment.
- Ability to assess technical trade-offs, risks, and impacts and drive solutions from concept to delivery.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience includes C++, SDK development, React, modern web applications, Infrastructure as Code, AWS Aurora RDS, ElastiCache Redis, DevOps practices, Grafana, Kibana, SonarQube, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and large-scale online platforms or gaming services.
