Responsibilities
- Collaborate with traders to understand and implement trading strategies.
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications and algorithms for trading teams.
- Enhance the functional and operational aspects of strategy systems to improve user experience.
- Take ownership of the product development process from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Iterate frequently to gather feedback and reduce time-to-market.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong programming skills.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms and data structures.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with an interest in trading.
- Experience in trading or related industries such as HFT or hedge funds is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin) or Python is required.
- Advanced math and quantitative skills are a plus.
- Experience with user-facing applications and large-scale data pipelines is a plus.
