Responsibilities

  • Build new products end to end with React/TypeScript front ends, Python services, and LLM and voice pipelines.
  • Turn product theses into working prototypes quickly and collaborate with the PM to decide which ideas merit further investment.
  • Develop trustworthy and compliant AI features using prompting, retrieval, and evaluation approaches suitable for clinical use.
  • Ship weekly, demonstrate releases, and use real usage data to guide product decisions.
  • Work with clinicians to understand workflows and blockers and collaborate with commercial teams on business cases.
  • Instrument products for usage, latency, and failure modes and build the data pipes needed for scale-or-kill decisions.
  • Own products from proof of concept through production and maintain or hand off successful codebases effectively.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience shipping production software.
  • Full-stack fluency with Python on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend, including ownership from schema to UI.
  • Working fluency with LLM systems, including prompting, retrieval, embeddings, evaluation, and designing around probabilistic behavior.
  • Experience building with AI tools such as Cursor or Claude Code and examples of what you have created with them.
  • Cloud fluency with AWS or GCP, including independently standing up infrastructure and CI/CD and delivering code without a platform team.
  • A testing-in-production mindset focused on observability and feedback loops.
  • Strong product judgment, user focus, willingness to challenge incorrect requirements, and a bias toward shipping.
  • Healthcare experience is not required, but genuine interest in improving healthcare is important.
