Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain proprietary low-latency trading systems and infrastructure
- Develop trading tools that leverage the high-performance trading system
- Improve the scalability, performance, and efficiency of trading infrastructure
- Understand future business needs and design technical solutions to meet them
- Work across frontend-facing projects and backend infrastructure using different programming languages
- Develop systems covering order management, exchange connectivity, smart order routing, internalisation, and clearing
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience building and designing distributed and scalable software in general-purpose languages such as Java, Go, or C++
- Experience with Python is desired but not required
- Experience with distributed or highly concurrent systems is desired
- Experience with low-latency systems or high-transaction environments is desired
- Experience with relational databases is desired
- Two to five-plus years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining highly optimized, scalable code is desired
- Strong initiative, self-direction, peer leadership, written communication, and verbal communication skills
