Responsibilities
- Build and improve software for high-volume financial data, accounting workflows, and reliable enterprise automation.
- Work across the technology stack as a generalist engineer.
- Help define the culture and technical charters of Maxima’s new Toronto engineering office.
- Contribute to product direction and company growth while helping build the technical team from the ground up.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building products at high-growth companies.
- Familiarity with web development, relational databases, and distributed systems.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Redux, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with data pipelines, mission-critical systems such as fintech, or complex workflow engines is a plus.
- Willingness to work in person five days per week and contribute deeply to company culture.
