Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance DevOps capabilities, platform components, automation tooling, and supporting services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment templates, infrastructure-as-code, automation scripts, and reusable platform components.
- Implement and support AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes-based platforms, Docker workloads, networking, certificates, secrets, identity, registries, and environment configuration.
- Deploy and operate enterprise applications securely across development, test, pre-production, and production environments.
- Integrate deployment workflows with AWS services, enterprise identity platforms, data platforms, monitoring solutions, registries, and APIs.
- Implement automated quality, security, infrastructure validation, vulnerability scanning, dependency checks, and deployment verification controls.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes, container, AWS, CI/CD, networking, identity, data integration, and application platforms, including root-cause analysis and defect resolution.
- Create technical documentation such as architecture notes, infrastructure diagrams, deployment procedures, configuration standards, troubleshooting guides, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile sprint planning, effort estimation, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Approximately 5 to 9 years of relevant software development or software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise software or data solutions as a developer or software engineer.
- Ownership of at least one production DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure, automation, cloud, container, or platform component.
- Hands-on experience with scripting or platform tooling using Python, PowerShell, TypeScript/JavaScript, or shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools.
- Experience with Docker or comparable containerization technologies and working knowledge of Kubernetes operations.
- Hands-on AWS cloud services and infrastructure experience covering compute, networking, IAM, storage, load balancing, and managed services.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and environment automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or comparable technologies.
- Working knowledge of DevSecOps, cloud security, identity and access management, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, certificate management, and secure configuration.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum delivery, technical documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology platform experience; enterprise Docker and Kubernetes operations; secure identity patterns using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, or IAM; observability and production support; AI/ML infrastructure; and relevant AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, DevOps, cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, or Agile certifications.
