Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-throughput backend services using Go.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to deliver support-agent features globally.
- Design scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems.
- Lead and contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions.
- Write well-tested code and maintain high code-quality standards.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Participate in on-call operations and support reliability and incident management.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building and scaling complex systems.
- 2+ years of production experience with Golang, including the ability to mentor others and drive best practices.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, especially Cassandra.
- Strong understanding of low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.
- Previous on-call experience and a pragmatic approach to reliability and incident management.
- Node.js or other backend-language experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and event-driven architectures is preferred.
