Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services powering an LLM routing and observability platform.
- Own architectural decisions across the platform and balance scalability with early-stage product needs.
- Contribute to the core gateway service in Go and auxiliary ML/AI services in Python.
- Select and apply appropriate database and caching technologies.
- Work within and evolve Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Translate product goals into robust and efficient engineering solutions with the founding team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building backend services in a compiled language, with strong preference for Go.
- Practical understanding of concurrency and demonstrated experience applying it in production systems.
- Hands-on experience selecting and using database and caching technologies.
- Ability to design scalable, pragmatic architectures and make tradeoffs among quality, speed, and completeness.
- Track record of independently learning and applying new technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes is a strong plus.
- Background in AI or LLM infrastructure or developer tooling is a plus.
