Base Salary
$168k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms involving real-world sensor data for robotic products.
- Create prototype solutions, evaluate systems for improvement, and build production solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including Amazon Robotics, to bring concepts into production.
- Lead the design and architecture of new and existing software systems.
- Mentor engineers or serve as a technical lead while balancing cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

- Base salary ranges from $168,100 to $261,500 annually depending on location, excluding sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
