Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable integrations and automation workflows using Workato recipes, connectors, and APIs.
- Build and deploy Workato Genies and AI-powered automations for intelligent business processes.
- Implement API-led and event-driven integration patterns across enterprise applications and data platforms.
- Develop custom connectors, SDK-based integrations, and advanced data transformation logic.
- Define automation strategies and reusable integration frameworks with architects and stakeholders.
- Ensure governance, error handling, monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization best practices.
- Support migrations from legacy middleware and other iPaaS platforms to Workato.
- Create reusable accelerators and marketplace-ready integration assets.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of integration and automation experience with strong hands-on Workato development.
- Expertise in Workato recipes, connectors, APIs, webhooks, and workflow orchestration.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth, and API security.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and iPaaS architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud SaaS applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, ServiceNow, and Snowflake.
- Experience with enterprise automation strategy and governance frameworks is preferred.
- Exposure to Boomi, MuleSoft, or Informatica is preferred.
- Knowledge of LLM integrations, prompt engineering, and AI workflow optimization is preferred.
- Workato or relevant automation certifications are preferred.
- Experience working in Agile delivery models is preferred.
