Base Salary
$132k - $264k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver infrastructure, tooling, and ML framework capabilities aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture to build scalable, resilient, containerized systems and services.
- Conduct system design reviews and ensure alignment with architectural best practices.
- Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components for automation and intelligent features.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence through documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and track success metrics using data-driven practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus 4 years of software engineering or related experience, or 6 years of such experience.
- Expertise in object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices.
- Experience guiding engineers in building secure REST services with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Kafka, Kubernetes, Maven, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Spark, Scala, and Python.
- Expert-level knowledge of Java, SQL/NoSQL databases, distributed caching, Kafka, and container technologies.
- BigQuery and Google Cloud experience are preferred.
- A master’s degree in a relevant computer science, engineering, information systems, or software engineering field plus 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices is preferred.
