Responsibilities
- Lead blueprinting workshops and communicate o9’s perspective while understanding customer requirements.
- Create and document business requirements and detailed functional designs with client stakeholders, configuration leads, and product experts.
- Support technical teams in identifying required data from ERP systems, PLM systems, databases, Excel sheets, emails, and other sources.
- Develop strategies to create, maintain, and predict missing data elements.
- Support project managers with user-story mapping, sprint planning, timelines, risks, and customer sign-offs.
- Work with build teams to configure solutions for client planning use cases.
- Coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional teams and validate resolutions for successful delivery.
- Manage build activities, including scope, deliverable validation, client demonstrations, and user-story acceptance.
- Plan, develop, and deliver super-user and end-user training.
Requirements
- Experience participating in consulting or IT system implementation projects, including business-requirements organization, issue identification, design, development, or testing.
- Experience structuring complex issues or topics and clearly documenting them for discussion with customers and teams.
- Experience using data analysis or logic-building approaches to solve problems, such as Excel, SQL, Python, or other analysis tools.
- Interest in supply-chain planning, demand, supply, or production planning, or in statistics and optimization techniques; practical experience is not required.
- Experience advancing projects using agile methods or sprint-based formats is preferred.
- Strong learning agility, initiative, empathy, teamwork, and ability to collaborate across diverse backgrounds and time zones.
- Native-level Japanese or advanced Japanese capability for business negotiation, presentations, and facilitation.
- Willingness and ability to communicate in English through reading, writing, and conversation.
