Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day AWS operations across EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, IAM, and VPC.
- Perform cloud resource lifecycle management, including patching, scaling, and backups.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and on-call rotations.
- Operate and maintain CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Automate deployments and support engineering teams with service and environment deployment.
- Monitor cloud usage and support cost optimization, right-sizing, compute migration, and storage tiering initiatives.
- Operate and monitor MongoDB and RDS Aurora clusters, including performance, backups, and scaling.
- Configure monitoring and alerting with Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry.
- Contribute to incident detection, response playbooks, operational runbooks, and dashboards.
- Apply IAM security and least-privilege practices and support patching, logging, compliance, and audit-readiness activities.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Solid operational knowledge of AWS, including EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Hands-on production experience with MongoDB and RDS Aurora.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Strong scripting ability in Python, Bash, or a similar language.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Good communication, teamwork, troubleshooting, monitoring, and documentation skills.
- Desired experience with Kubernetes operations, Amazon EKS, AWS cost-management tools, and FinOps practices.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Kafka is desirable.
- Exposure to HIPAA, GDPR, or NIST and healthcare compliance is desirable.
