Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation.
- Own and evolve AWS environments for high availability, scalability, and security.
- Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution, mentoring a small team.
- Build and maintain Node.js-based tools and services for automation and deployment.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
- Set up and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting across AWS environments.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades and improvements while minimizing downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Drive initiatives to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, security, and operations.
- Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure and operational processes.
- Contribute to MISUMI Americas' Quality Management System.
Requirements
- 10+ years in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience writing Node.js code for services and automation.
- Expert-level AWS experience across various services like EC2, Lambda, and S3.
- Extensive experience with CloudFormation, including managing complex templates.
- Strong track record in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience debugging systems and applications in production.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Solid understanding of AWS security best practices.
- Strong Linux systems experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
