Responsibilities
- Collaborate with QA and Development teams to validate features and products in the Universal Asset Insights platform.
- Automate test execution using industry or internally developed tools.
- Create and validate integrations with network controllers, cloud service providers, virtualization platforms, and containerized or orchestrated environments.
- Perform unit, system-level, API, UI, integration, and performance testing.
- Provide technical leadership for scalable, extensible, and reliable product architecture and software design.
- Support roadmap planning, documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and product delivery goals.
- Analyze defects, performance metrics, sizing guidelines, customer issues, and recurring application problems.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to test planning, effort estimates, release planning, training, and certifications.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation, with increasing ownership and independent delivery.
- Experience with API, user-interface, integration, and performance test automation frameworks.
- Ability to test service-oriented systems, distributed services, containerized or orchestrated deployments, and cloud and on-premises environments.
- Knowledge of operating systems, software services, communication fundamentals, system architecture, software design patterns, and asynchronous communication concepts.
- Familiarity with virtualized, cloud-based, and on-premises execution environments.
- Networking concepts and protocols are helpful but not required.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing and quality automation is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to handle customer issues, plan UI testing independently, identify defect root causes, and mentor junior team members.
