Responsibilities
- Design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure Open Banking services.
- Write code and participate hands-on in architecture reviews and design sessions.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to shape critical initiatives.
- Lead architectural decisions while balancing speed, scale, sustainability, and cost-benefit considerations.
- Identify reuse opportunities and contribute to enterprise-wide architectural alignment.
- Mentor engineers and technical leads through coaching, code reviews, and architectural guidance.
- Lead technical initiatives and help build high-performing engineering teams.
- Conduct technical interviews and promote technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience designing and building secure, scalable systems in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
- Experience with secure development practices, cryptography, encryption, and secure communication protocols.
- Proficiency in secure coding using modern languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Node.js.
- Fluency in OWASP, CWE, and vulnerability management.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives in fast-paced, high-impact environments, preferably with financial services experience.
- Strong understanding of compliance needs and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience mentoring engineers and conducting technical interviews.
- Strong collaboration, communication, conflict-resolution, and cross-functional influence skills.
