Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend improvements to hardware-based cryptographic solutions.
- Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to Futurex’s global customers.
- Test and troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware for the data-security and encryption industry.
- Train customers on Futurex products and data-security best practices.
- Provide project-management services for custom development initiatives and global Hardened Enterprise Security Platform implementations.
- Write and maintain publicly released technical documentation.
- Work with industry-specific APIs and protocols when interfacing with external systems.
- Apply business and technical knowledge to create solutions that protect sensitive enterprise data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical and/or business-related major.
- Broad information-technology background and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Motivated, entrepreneurial mindset and flexibility to assist across departments.
- Preferred: familiarity with hardware security modules, enterprise key and certificate management, PKI management, or tokenization for PCI DSS compliance.
- Preferred: 2–4 years of experience in a cybersecurity-related position.
- Preferred: experience with TCP/IP networking and multiple architectures and platforms.
- Preferred: experience with Linux, OpenSSL, and Python, Perl, or Bash scripting.
- Preferred: experience in sales and/or technical support.
