Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug the StockX iOS app using Swift and UIKit.
- Build GraphQL APIs that interact with backend services and REST APIs.
- Utilize MVVM architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Stay updated with technology changes related to iOS and Swift.
- Work on initiatives from start to finish, including A/B testing.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
- Architect and design proposed solutions with the engineering team.
- Guide junior team members in detailed component design.
- Propose and adopt best engineering practices.
- Foster a growth mindset culture and contribute to team processes.
- Consider security, scalability, reliability, and performance in solutions.
- Demonstrate ownership of services and support through upgrades and issues.
- Communicate timely with stakeholders regarding issue resolution.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant development experience.
- Good understanding of the iOS platform and common conventions.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to document features, additions, and bug fixes clearly.
- Ability to explain complex technical terms to non-technical users.
- Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Experience working on cross-functional product teams preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred.
