Base Salary
$150k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build tools and automation for managing employment compliance.
- Integrate APIs and build data pipelines.
- Create API endpoints to support applications and partners.
- Design, implement, and iterate new features from scratch.
- Synthesize user feedback to inform future development.
- Lay the groundwork for future engineering and product development.
- Set up initial infrastructure and continuous integration workflows.
- Collaborate closely with the founder and founding team on prototypes and MVPs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer.
- Strong collaboration skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Technical expertise combined with a deep understanding of product development.
- Ability to solve novel problems and think critically.
- Experience in Python, Postgres, SQLAlchemy, FastApi, and mypy.
- Desire to learn new things and go beyond engineering.
