Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build ML platform services with Tier-1 availability and performance while enabling rapid model experimentation.
- Evolve model-serving and feature-delivery infrastructure to support continuous experimentation and new ML capabilities.
- Design and scale training pipelines, real-time inference systems, and feature stores for Prime Video personalization.
- Partner with scientists, product managers, and engineering stakeholders to productionize research breakthroughs.
- Write maintainable software, influence technical strategy, establish engineering best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

- Base salary range of $143,700.00 to $194,400.00 USD annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
