Base Salary
$207k - $303k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable multi-tenant file and block storage systems.
- Build distributed file storage and durable block volumes.
- Integrate dedicated storage clusters into customer environments.
- Optimize performance using technologies such as RDMA and GPU Direct Storage.
- Enhance reliability and observability across the storage stack.
- Collaborate with platform, product, and infrastructure teams.
- Mentor other engineers on distributed, high-performance systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with distributed file systems or block storage.
- Familiarity with storage protocols like NFS and S3.
- Proficiency in systems programming languages such as Rust, C++, or Go.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes.
- Strong debugging skills in distributed, high-performance environments.
