Base Salary
$207k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of the reliability and performance of the Kubernetes-based data platform.
- Architect and operate highly available, multi-region systems.
- Scale infrastructure and optimize deployment pipelines.
- Strengthen security posture and ensure production readiness.
- Build, test, and manage scalable systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or building scalable distributed systems.
- Familiarity with data platforms and data-intensive workloads.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes cluster design and operations.
- Proven track record in building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with mission-critical systems and high availability requirements.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems, databases, and backend APIs.
- Practical experience in designing geo-replicated, multi-region systems.
- Strong experience in building observability solutions.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tooling.
- Experience applying security best practices in cloud-native settings.
