Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate secure, scalable distributed cloud services that process petabytes of data weekly.
- Own frontend platform architecture, including Micro Frontends, frontend frameworks, shared infrastructure, component libraries, and modular deployment capabilities.
- Design and build backend services, APIs, and integration layers supporting the frontend platform.
- Drive architecture, engineering standards, performance, scalability, reliability, security, observability, and infrastructure practices across multiple teams.
- Conduct design and code reviews, document standards, promote best practices, and mentor senior and lead engineers.
- Establish frontend standards for testing, observability, accessibility, performance, lazy loading, code splitting, caching, and CDN strategies.
- Provide technical direction, resolve cross-organizational challenges, and influence technical decisions without formal authority.
- Partner with UX teams on the evolution of the design system and component libraries.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing, building, and operating complex cloud-native distributed systems.
- Demonstrated technical leadership across multiple teams or domains and the ability to define technical direction and drive cross-team alignment.
- Strong background in architecture, security, and reliability at scale.
- Experience translating business goals into technical strategy and influencing without formal authority.
- Strong mentorship and technical communication skills.
- Deep frontend expertise in TypeScript and modern React.
- Proven experience designing Micro Frontend architectures, module federation, and integration patterns at scale.
- Experience with component versioning and shared dependency management.
- Experience with algorithms, automation, debugging, distributed systems, performance tuning, problem solving, project management, software development, system design, and technical leadership.
