Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance frontend applications for subscriber self-service portals, onboarding flows, plan management, and internal operational tools.
- Lead HLD/LLD technical design for UI features and system enhancements in alignment with platform architecture and UX standards.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold frontend engineering quality across the team.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, backend engineers, and global counterpart teams on end-to-end features.
- Diagnose complex frontend production issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and implement long-term systemic fixes.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through design reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, frontend observability tooling, and DevOps practices.
- Participate in cross-team architecture discussions and drive platform-level frontend technical decisions.
- Champion accessibility, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of frontend software development experience delivering large-scale production web applications.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, and rendering performance.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with microservice backends.
- Strong command of modern CSS, including CSS Modules, styled-components, or equivalent, and responsive and accessible design principles.
- Experience with frontend unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies, including tools such as Jest, Vitest, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Hands-on experience with build tooling and CI/CD pipelines, including Webpack, Vite, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to independently lead HLD/LLD technical design and communicate decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Business-level English, demonstrated by TOEIC 800 or an equivalent qualification.
- Telecommunications, BSS/OSS, billing portal, order tracking, CRM UI, or provisioning dashboard experience is desired.
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture, module federation, server-side rendering, static site generation, Next.js, frontend observability, design systems, shared component libraries, GraphQL, BFF patterns, and globally distributed agile teams is desired.
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving frontend quality initiatives is desired.
