Base Salary
$177k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as a project or system leader coordinating the activities of other engineers.
- Determine the technical tasks that other engineers will follow.
- Drive customer, operational, program, or service objectives.
- Improve existing structures and processes proactively.
- Reconcile time, quality, complexity, and risk priorities to identify optimal solutions.
- Identify patterns and create generalized solutions for recurring problems.
- Collaborate with management to establish and improve engineering standards and rigor.
- Represent PayPal in interactions with partners, customers, and and industry organizations.
Requirements
- Requires 5+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must demonstrate technical leadership, judgment, process improvement, and the ability to coordinate engineers and represent the company externally.
