Base Salary

$214k - $310k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build production AI and agentic AI solutions, including orchestration, tool integration, retrieval-augmented generation, and autonomous workflows.
  • Design, deploy, and operate secure microservice applications on AWS and Kubernetes across application, API, container, identity, and data layers.
  • Establish architectural patterns and engineering practices adopted by other teams.
  • Lead design and code reviews and mentor engineers.
  • Define systems with guardrails, measurable reliability, and production operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 11+ years of related experience, or master’s degree and 7+ years, or PhD and 3+ years, or equivalent related work experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience using Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • 5+ years designing, deploying, and operating microservice applications on a public cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • 3+ years running containerized workloads in Kubernetes in production.
  • 2+ years building generative AI or large language model applications, including at least one production system using RAG, embeddings, or tool and function calling.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning; enterprise-scale agentic AI platform experience; experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Model Context Protocol, or Semantic Kernel; AI security and production guardrail, policy, evaluation, and observability experience; and evidence of cross-organizational technical influence through patents, publications, open-source contributions, or major engineering initiatives.
