Base Salary
$108k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop small, well-defined processor or DSP blocks and assist with complex blocks, features, and tests under minor supervision.
- Identify and resolve architecture and design issues across multiple systems or subsystems while meeting specification, power, performance, timing, and quality requirements.
- Perform architecture, design, verification, performance, and power analysis using simulators, emulators, test generators, and synthesis tools.
- Collaborate in design reviews, collect feedback from other teams, investigate issues, and document features, design changes, and resolutions.
- Track industry trends, competitor products, and advances related to DSP, machine learning, modem, and processor technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree plus 1+ year of relevant experience; or a PhD in a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design.
- Preferred: master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: 2+ years of programming experience with C, C++, or Python, or experience in computer architecture or embedded systems.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with design-verification methods.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
