Responsibilities
- Develop, design, create, modify, and test desktop and mobile web applications or systems.
- Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems for complex web applications.
- Implement performant features and user interfaces for customer-facing products.
- Interface with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs and identify technical solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers through peer code reviews and documentation.
- Create build specifications and PRDs for projects.
- Lead projects from PRD through deployment with front-end and back-end engineers, ensuring code quality, testing, and production confirmation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience.
- At least 3 years specifically owning a React/NextJS project; TypeScript experience is a plus.
- Experience scaling front-end state and cache systems and handling large amounts of data in a product.
- Experience owning the UI of a large product or feature from start to finish.
- Strong communication skills and understanding of how front-end systems relate to back-end data and API calls.
- Ability to improve overall code quality and reduce project scope when appropriate.
- Interest in consumer brands and loyalty programs is valued.
- Experience deploying and hosting a project on Vercel is a plus.
