Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product development from design through deployment.
- Translate product objectives into technical requirements in collaboration with customers.
- Design iterative solutions for complex energy procurement and decision-support problems.
- Develop performant backend services for data-intensive applications.
- Build intuitive frontend interfaces for complex decision-support systems.
- Train time-series forecasting models for power consumption and renewable production.
- Develop linear optimization algorithms to reduce customer energy costs.
- Help select and shape the core technology stack.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience delivering robust, scalable web applications in a startup environment.
- Ability to independently deliver complete product features while working with customers.
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in time-series forecasting and/or linear optimization.
- Comfort working across backend and frontend domains.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, and Python.
- Experience building frontend UIs for complex decision-support systems and backend services for data-intensive applications.
- Early-stage startup experience is preferred, and broad technical leadership experience is a plus.
- Curiosity about energy markets and data-driven business applications.
Benefits
- Salary of EUR 85,000 to EUR 140,000 annually.
- Hybrid work arrangement in Munich with onsite presence required for the majority of the week and some remote flexibility.
