Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, high-performance React user interfaces and reusable components.
- Design and build Python backend services, APIs, business logic, authentication, and authorization.
- Design and maintain Kafka producers and consumers, event-driven architectures, and real-time data pipelines.
- Work with Snowflake and analysts to create reliable, analytics-ready data models.
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions and optimize application performance and scalability.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and maintain clean, testable, and documented code.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and coding standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, analysts, and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React, including hooks, component lifecycle, and state management.
- Strong experience with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, schema registries, stream processing, and messaging patterns.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and familiarity with GraphQL, API design, and versioning.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with TypeScript, Git-based workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Knowledge of event-driven and microservices architectures, asynchronous processing, performance tuning, and scalability.
- Familiarity with Grafana and exposure to OAuth, JWT, and security best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, documentation, and attention to data quality.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and managing work using Jira.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
