Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining Java microservices running on Kubernetes.
- Build and support shared libraries, service frameworks, API Gateway integrations, messaging adapters, auditing, caching, security, and authentication components.
- Contribute to GenAI-enabled services and integrations with LLM-based systems.
- Use coding assistants and other GenAI tools to improve development, debugging, and learning.
- Participate in design discussions and translate requirements into simple, maintainable implementations.
- Write clean, testable Java code and basic JUnit unit tests.
- Debug distributed-system issues with guidance from senior engineers.
- Assist with CI/CD processes, basic DevOps tasks, and monitoring setup.
- Collaborate with team members to follow platform standards, patterns, and best practices.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of software development experience, including internships or academic projects.
- Basic knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot or similar frameworks through coursework or hands-on projects.
- Understanding of APIs, REST, databases, and basic system design.
- Exposure to microservices, containers, or cloud environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Interest in distributed systems and backend infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of or curiosity about Generative AI tools and LLM-based systems.
- Strong learning mindset, curiosity, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively under guidance.
