Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical solutions within the BHW home loan savings system landscape.
- Drive platform architecture and development processes with solution architects.
- Perform software design, development, unit testing, peer code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Deliver solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support feasibility studies, effort estimates, technical design, development, testing, and documentation across the software lifecycle.
- Provide third-level support for the existing IT landscape.
- Stay current with Google Cloud technology and share technical knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements
- Expertise and long-term experience in COBOL development on x86, particularly with Micro Focus.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and UNIX shell scripting.
- Basic to complex Oracle query development skills.
- Strong knowledge of architecture and integration patterns, code conventions, and software best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments and with agile tooling.
- Experience and knowledge of investment business and its operations.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and English language skills.
