Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with data producers and consumers across the organization.
- Partner with engineers to improve existing systems and processes.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure systems.
- Create a culture of transparency and collaboration through documentation and mentoring.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of data infrastructure engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or software development.
- Experience with data pipelines such as Kafka or Kinesis.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Experience with IaaS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and service-oriented architectures.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
