Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure as code and configuration as code using GitCI.
- Use AWS cloud infrastructure and deploy Helm charts to EKS.
- Write Bash, Python, Perl, and Go automation scripts.
- Integrate services with Kubernetes and third-party systems.
- Automate operational processes and contribute to open source projects.
- Use logs to identify and troubleshoot code and cluster issues.
- Participate in scrum meetings, sprint planning, milestone planning, and pairing sessions.
Requirements
- Typically 4–5+ years of industry experience for senior-level positions.
- 3–5 years of Kubernetes experience, including EKS and containerization tools such as Docker.
- At least 2 years of experience building, operating, and maintaining compliant environments in AWS or Azure using Terraform and Helm.
- Knowledge of Istio, custom Kubernetes Operators, Helm charts, Admission Controllers, CRDs, or Controllers.
- Golang experience for cloud-based or server-side solutions and Python proficiency for scripting and debugging.
- Experience building production, development, and testing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
- Experience building and managing containers with Docker.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices including container security, hardening, baselining, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of debugging cluster-based computing architectures and Kubernetes at scale.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- One of CISM, CISSP, CISA, CCISO, CCNP Security, GLSC, or Security X certifications.
- CKA or CKAD certification.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to work on supported programs.
