Responsibilities
- Execute the full software development lifecycle hands-on.
- Develop backend web applications, APIs, and database solutions using event-driven architecture.
- Design and develop services that retrieve, process, and transform requests in near real time.
- Contribute to software development best practices and guidelines.
- Support and improve production client systems with a focus on product quality and resilience.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and take end-to-end ownership of 24/7 platform reliability.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or a similar technical degree.
- At least two years of experience developing and delivering advanced applications.
- Experience designing and operating large production systems.
- Experience with Java, object-oriented design principles, and programming patterns.
- Experience building high-performance, scalable services with high throughput and low-latency requirements.
- Good technical English communication skills.
- Knowledge of Zookeeper, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Some experience with Python and Django is valued.
