Responsibilities
- Analyze application and system issues, recommend solutions, and implement system enhancements.
- Write performant Oracle SQL queries and tune query performance.
- Develop database functions, stored procedures, and packages.
- Use database links and apply RDBMS and ACID concepts in application development.
- Conduct testing and debugging and write basic code based on design specifications.
- Assess risks, follow applicable policies and regulations, and escalate and report control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of programming experience.
- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and ACID properties.
- Experience with Oracle Database, performant SQL query writing, and SQL query tuning.
- Knowledge of writing functions, stored procedures, and packages.
- Knowledge of database links.
- Bachelor's degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of ETL and data warehousing concepts is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Cognos Reporting or another business intelligence tool is useful.
