Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, internal tools, and automation systems.
- Develop and enhance large-scale microservices and core platform components.
- Write unit tests, automated functional tests, and load tests for microservices.
- Improve system reliability, performance, debugging, testing, and observability.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Evaluate AI tools, libraries, and model options and integrate AI features into production applications.
- Work on prompt design, AI workflow improvements, and data-handling governance.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong skills in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Go.
- Experience building APIs, microservices, or backend systems.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with message broker systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Pub/Sub.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
- Experience calling LLM APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering and integrating AI features into applications.
- Strong debugging, testing, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
