Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain C++17+ services.
- Implement and troubleshoot networking and real-time communication flows.
- Debug complex issues involving core dumps, concurrency, and performance.
- Work within and evolve a large existing codebase.
- Collaborate with QA and product teams on behavior and edge cases.
- Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.
- Contribute within Agile processes using Scrum and Jira.
Requirements
- Strong C++ experience with C++17 or later and STL.
- Solid networking fundamentals, including TCP, UDP, and sockets.
- Experience with multithreaded and concurrent systems.
- Strong debugging skills, including gdb and core dumps.
- Linux development experience.
- Ability to understand and maintain complex legacy systems.
- Experience with Agile and Jira or Atlassian tools.
- Practical VoIP or PBX experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, RTP/RTCP, SDP, and WebRTC is preferred.
- Experience with telephony/PBX systems, Boost.Asio, GitHub PR workflows, Kubernetes, FreeSWITCH, network analysis, performance profiling, optimization, or Python is beneficial.
