Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, test, implement, and support new or revised enterprise application systems and programs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology activities, and model development.
- Monitor development through analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation phases.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; provide user and operational support.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and help establish operating standards and procedures.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, control, and operational risks appropriately.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
- Hands-on proficiency with Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Kafka, MQ, and MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Lightspeed for build management, and OpenShift application deployment.
- Experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot and interest in applying AI to the software development lifecycle are preferred.
