Responsibilities
- Build customer relationships, understand business priorities, and provide practical technical recommendations.
- Own defined solution components or technical workstreams within an overall architecture.
- Participate in discovery workshops and translate healthcare professional, healthcare organization, medical affairs, and patient services requirements into solution designs.
- Configure and develop Salesforce solutions, including data models, integrations, access controls, privacy, consent, security, and auditability features.
- Document designs, build prototypes, support testing and troubleshooting, and participate in code or configuration reviews.
- Contribute to data migration, deployment, release activities, data quality, and delivery reliability.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, consultants, partners, and customer teams to estimate work, track dependencies, and raise risks.
- Explore automation and AI use cases under architectural guidance while considering data access, testing, and human oversight.
- Share reusable documentation and solution components and develop consulting and architecture skills through feedback.
Requirements
- Professional working proficiency in French or German, written and spoken, sufficient for customer workshops and solution discussions.
- Already authorized to work in Switzerland and holding a valid Swiss work permit where required.
- At least 3 years of technical consulting, software engineering, or Salesforce delivery experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on Salesforce implementation.
- Customer-facing consulting experience involving requirements gathering and technology solution delivery.
- Foundational knowledge of Salesforce application design, data modeling, security, and access management.
- Hands-on Salesforce configuration and custom development experience with an understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Practical experience with APIs, integrations, or data migration and the ability to explain connected-application data exchange.
- Awareness of data privacy and security principles and willingness to learn regulated Life Sciences requirements.
- Experience contributing to technical designs and agile delivery teams while owning defined components and seeking guidance when needed.
- Clear communication, problem-solving, collaboration, willingness to learn, and availability to travel according to customer and project needs.
- Preferred: Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud experience and exposure to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical technology organizations or HCP/HCO, medical affairs, or patient services processes.
- Preferred: CRM modernization, platform migration, multi-market deployment, Agentforce, enterprise data platform, or AI-assisted development experience.
- Preferred: Relevant Salesforce certifications, progress toward architecture certification, and experience with design reviews, prototypes, or customer demonstrations.
- Preferred: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable professional experience.
